During the month of August we'll be gathering outdoors for our Sunday gatherings. This helps to give our volunteer teams some time off to enjoy the summer weekends. We'll be back in person at Awaken starting on September 16th with gatherings at 9:00am and 10:30am. In the meantime, check the schedule below to see where we're going to be throughout August!
Worship in the Park is a rain or shine event with access to a sheltered pavilion if needed. In the event of severe weather, Worship in the Park gatherings will be moved to the Awaken Community building at 506 View Street. This will be communicated via email and app notification no later than 7:00pm on Saturdays the day before each gathering.

Community Picnic

We’re kicking off our month of gatherings in the park with a community picnic! We’ll be at Halle Q. Brown Community Center, just a block east of Awaken. There are pickleball & tennis courts, yard games, and a playground. We'll have hotdogs and some sides available. Please bring a drink and a lawn chair/blanket.

We're headed back to Highland Park for our traditional Worship in the Park gatherings! Bring a lawn chair and we'll gather for worship on the grass together. Bring a picnic lunch if you want to stay after the gathering!
Parking is available in the lots on either side of Montreal Ave. There is a driveway leading to the pavilion from the main parking lot (next to Circus Juventas) for anyone with accessibility concerns.
